Welcome to Department of National Cadet Corps (NCC)

 

Department of NCC

NCC unit of the Govt. College of Arts & Science, Aurangabad was started in 1955. This was the first college which got NCC unit in this area.

This unit was named as A/1 and was attached to Bombay Battalion at present the allowed strength is 53 and it is attached to 51 MAH Bn. NCC Aurangabad.

Moto of NCC is unity and discipline. NCC training has been designed to create in the youth a greater sense of patriotism, discipline, self confidence, self reliance and spirit-de-crops. It also develops qualities of leadership, spirit of adventure, sense of pride and achievement and make them a better citizen and a leader this disciplined force has proved useful in natural calamities.

And all this is done with the help of drill firing and different types of camps.

For example Thalsena Camp, Annual training camp, National integration camp, Adventure training camp, Sports camps etc.

Our Cadets take part in all the Camps.

Our cadets have been selected & attended Republic Day Parade camps at New Delhi.

Cdt. Shubham Jadli joined NDA, Pune. Same other 6 cadet enter army wing , 2 police dept.

Sonaji Landge won gold medal in Athletics.

 Ganesh Ghanwat attended this camp.

 

Furture plans 

 

College wants to implement following plans.

  • Wants to starts training for the cadets to get admitted for Army Wing.
  • To see that much more Cadets join the Army as officers .
  • To improve their personality and motivate to serve for mother land.

Social Awareness Rally

 

A rally was organised by Govt. College of Arts & Science, Aurangabad with 51 Maharashtra, NCC, Aurangabad to create awareness about anti dowry, anti tobacco, save girl child, save water, pollution free environment, tree plantation, illiteracy, Swach Bharat Abhiyan, iodine deficiency, anti corruption in the people. The rally was flagged off by the Principal Dr. Lad and guided by Lt. Perkar Sir (ANO) of Govt. College of Arts & Science, Aurangabad from the college to Collecter office.

Our Cadets have selected in Army as Officers, J.D. Army service, Police Service, Special Reserve Force, etc.
