About Department

Economics Department is one of the major department in social sciences. Many eminent stalwarts have served in the Economics Department. The department has organised a number of activities like lectures, workshops and seminars for the benefits of the students and staff of the college.

We take pride in the fact that the faculty of the department are actively involved in research activities, published articles in scholarly journals and participated in international and national seminars and conferences. Many students from the department have gone to nationally and internationally reputed institutes for higher studies.
