Aurangabad is historic place of tourist attraction and an industrial city, moving towards smart city. It is the divisional headquarter of Marathwada revenue division. The city is famous for Ellora Caves and exquisitely painted Ajanta Caves dating back second century B.C. it houses the remain of the grandeur of the last phases of Mughal Empire. Ajanta, Ellora, Ghrushneshwar, Khultabad, Daulatabad, Pitalkhora, Mhaismal and Paithan are the places of tourist attraction situated on the outskirts of the city. While Bibi ka Maqabara, Aurangabad Caves, Panchakki and Soneri Mahal are located in the periphery of the city.

The college was established in 1923 at Aurangabad and since then it has been playing pioneering role in providing quality education in this society.

College offers the programs of graduation in various subjects related to Arts and Science and post graduation in the subjects like Geography,Home Science and Music.
